Ms Nabanita Banerjee

Nabanita has been associated with TWF since its inception. She is a gold medalist in PGDSW, MA in Political Science from Calcutta University, PGD in Health Management from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi and a certificate holder in Health Systems Strengthening from John Hopkins University. During her leisure time, she completed both intermediate and advanced courses in Copy Editing from Mediabistro, USA. Nabanita has more than 12 year’s experience in the development sector. She has worked in Government (Panchayats and Rural Development Department, Govt of West Bengal), Corporate, Non-government Organizations and UN agency (NPO in World Health Organization South-East Asia Region). She has successfully designed, implemented and evaluated various development projects.

Satabdi Neogi

Block informatics officer

I am MBA Graduate from NIT, Durgapur with Systems major and back an experience of more than 13 years in Rural Development under various e-Governance project of the State and Central Government. I am presently working as Block Informatics Officer in North 24 Paraganas, West Bengal. I have lead IT part of the Census 2011 and all the Elections that are held under my Block jurisdiction from 2007. The e-Governance schematic programs that run under my supervision are Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pension Scheme, Sasthya Sathi, Public Financial Management System, Mission Nirmal Bangla to name a few. Even the block computerisation set up and e-tendering purchase of any IT related peripherals falls under my responsibility.

Mr Santanu Guhathakurata

Data Analyst

Santanu has more than 17 year’s experience in both corporate and NGO sectors. He has worked in GOAL Ireland, Sahara India,, Development Action Society and other NGOs. During his tenure, he has developed skills and experience in RDBMS, MIS and Data Analysis, alongside conducting project-related surveys, training assessments, and monitoring & evaluation. Over years, he has developed sector-specific expertise and knowledge in the areas of urban and rural development issues, including Maternal and Child Health, Protection & Rights, Education, Anti-Trafficking, HIV /AIDS, Livelihoods, Self Help Group promotion, WASH, and strong understanding of Government entitlements and schemes targeting extremely vulnerable populations and groups.

Ms Debanjana Choudhuri

Head- Strategic and Organizational Communications

Debanjana is a communication professional with a vast experience in media and communications. She has successfully launched various projects and has worked with the likes of IPPF and Greenpeace in the past. Having worked as a journalist in the past, she has had the experience of working with the media. When she is not busy planning a project launch and strategy, she spends her time traveling and playing with her toddler. She has an experience of 13 year’s in media and communications and has worked across various sectors.

Mr Soumendu Bhattacharyya

Senior Manager- Finance and HR

Soumendu has more than 8 year’s experience in both private and international donor organizations. He has completed B.COM (Hons) & CA (inter) and a computerised course on financial accounting from West Bengal Youth Academy. He has experience in preparing & finalizing financial statements by strictly adhering to accounting procedures & policies, maintaining & improving financial and functional management as well as internal control system within an organization. He is also equipped in cash management & banking operations. With wide experience in the development sector, he has the capability to handle support functions such as HR, Operation, Programme & Organizational Management. He smartly carries out statutory, internal & system audit in private, Govt. and non-Govt. organizations. He is known for his strong communication skills and ability to adapt and learn new technologies for smooth functioning of any projects/programmes.

Mr Sankar Ballav

Sankar is a passionate development professional with more than 8 year’s experience in international, national and community-based organizations. He has a good understanding of the development field and spends hours interacting with the community to identify their felt needs. This helps to design tailored-made programmes for the community.

Shashi Tiwari

Senior Finance & Compliance Manager

Shashi Tiwari is a Senior Finance and Compliance Manager with over nineteen years of experience in the areas of Finance, Compliance, Administration and Resource Mobilization and Asset Creation. He has extensive experience in forecasting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, auditing, accounting and management reporting. Shashi, in collaboration with the Executive Team and Project Director, provides oversight for all contracts and budgets systems at TWF. He holds responsible for the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices in compliance with organizational guidelines and donor policies. Shashi develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy of record keeping, effectiveness of internal controls and adequate safeguarding of the organization’s assets. She manages TWFs investments and prepares monthly and quarterly investment reports and analyses.
